1970s Slingerland 'On Tour' in Mahogany Wood - 14x22, 8x12, 9x13, 16x16

Super cool and super 70's! Pretty original overall and in generally decent shape with no extra holes or abusive wear. Chocolate milk interior 3 ply maple/poplar/maple shells on the toms. The lacquer finish is showing its age with some overall checking as is common. 

14 x 22 - A very cool drum - this is a thicker shell with a fiberglass liner inside that is painted silver - from the factory! Built to project. It is worn and a lot of the silver paint has flaked off. Factory no badge hole either, which is interesting. Features 10x lugs, 10x T-rods & claws, 1x hoop with chrome inlay, 2x telescopic spurs, Set-O-Matic mount, and pinned chrome protecting ring (slightly loose). The drum hows a good bit of general wear - slight rust on the claws, tarnish on the lugs. The finish is there, but worn as 50 year lacquer gets. Checking throughout, with some areas of lacquer missing on the top of the drums from drying up and peeling off. 

8 x 12 - Good overall. Some cracking in the interior ply only (very common with Slingerlands of this era.) Not drilled for a muffler. Features 6x small lugs, 6x tension rods, 1x Sticksaver hoop, and Set-O-Matic mount. Finish shows it's wear with some checking through out and normal marks for use. Chrome is dirty, with normal tarnish and some slight corrosion.

9 x 13 - Good overall. Not drilled for a muffler. Features 6x small lugs, 6x tension rods, 1x Sticksaver hoop, and Set-O-Matic mount. Finish shows it's wear with some checking through out and normal marks for use. Chrome is dirty, with normal tarnish and some slight corrosion. Bottom edge shows some wear, but no heavy gauges.

14 x 16 - Good overall. Features 8x small lugs, 8x tension rods, 1x Sticksaver hoop, holes for a muffler (missing), and 3x leg mounts (tapped for larger bolts) & legs. Finish shows it's wear with some checking through out and normal marks for use. Chrome is dirty, with normal tarnish and some slight corrosion. The bottom of the drum appears to have gotten wet at one time so there is some ply separation as shown.
