1960s Gretsch 4157 in White Marine Pearl - 5.5x14

Classic Gretsch! This drum is pretty much original and in good shape overall. Features 6 ply shell, 8x double-ended lugs, 16x tension rods (half are original), 2x die-cast hoops, Round-knob muffler, Micro-Sensitive strainer (missing arm), and newer heads and snare wires. Unfortunately there is an inch and a half length spot on the bottom bearing edge near the snare bed that incurred some damage, but is honestly likely not affecting the sound by any noticeable means. Chrome shows some pitting as to be expected. Wrap is fairly clean overall, and the seam has been re-glued, but there is some slight buckling present from the top head. A player’s drum for sure, but still a pretty nice one.
