1960s Ludwig Pre-Serial Super Classic in Blue Sparkle - 14x22, 9x13, 16x16

Someone clearly loved these drums because they modded them them completely out. A born together kit with extra holes galore. Still sounding great though as these come from a good era for Ludwig! 

14 x 22 - Clear Interior shell. Features some original hardware and some replacement hardware. Original 20x large lugs, and hoops with inlays. New Butterfly claws and tension rods. New replacement bass drum spur mounts & spurs, as well as a cymbal mount. They do use the original Ludwig hole pattern. The original rail consolette was replaced with a Rogers Swiv-O-Matic at one time, so holes galore in that area with some cracks in the wrap as well. There are two subtle cracks in the wrap under two top most lugs as well. The shell and edges are quite solid (this is a really good era for Ludwig). Seams are super tight. Wrap exhibits some subtle fade but nothing crazy, Chrome is in pretty good shape as well. 

9 x 13 - Someone had their fun with this drum as well. White Interior. Some unoriginal hardware, some extra holes. Features 12x original lugs, 2x new hoops, & 12x original tension rods. Muffler is missing, holes remain. There was a Rogers Swiv-O-matic mount added at one time so there are extra holes from that. Someone also atemtped to make this drum into a snare drum and added 4 extra holes for strainer and butt, but those have been filled and painted over, so fairly well hidden. Some cracking in the wrap where the mount was and under some lugs like on the bass drum. Otherwise, finish is pretty clean as is the chrome. 

16 x 16 - This drum has some extra holes as well as unoriginal parts. White Interior. 4 digit badge serial number, but likely original to the other two drums.  Features 16x lugs, 16x original tension rods, 2x unoriginal hoops, and 3x new leg mounts. Muffler missing. Someone at one time shifted the leg mounts down to get more height, adding 3 xtra holes total on the drum. Someone also added and snare drum strainer and butt to this drum, so it has the same small four holes that are filled and painted over that the 13" tom has. Finish and chrome are overall in pretty good shape.
