A very unique offering from Noble & Cooley - the Star Series feature a Single Ply Solid Maple shell with reinforcing hoops mounted at the nodal points of the shell, not at the edges. According to the internet, only about 150 of the Star series from 1988- 1992, dating this drum to sometime in that window. It is overall in great shape and mostly original - featuring 10 lugs, 20x tension rods, 2x triple flanged hoops, and proprietary N&C throw-off. There are two hairline cracks inn the lacquer finish only near the bottom of a lug and the throw-off. The chrome is overall quite clean but shows a little tarnishing by the stud part of the lugs. Bearing edges are clean and the drum sounds awesome!
