One of the most archetypical "Rock" configurations ever. For being the tool of choice for most of the heavy hitters at the time (Bonham, Appice, Bruford, Mitch Mitchell, Ringo, Don Henley, etc.) these are actually quite hard to find. While the finish is very cool, the really special element is the shell composition - 3 ply Maple/Poplar/Maple (unlike 90% of the other Ludwigs that have a ply of Mahogany). That gives these drums are slightly harder, more pronounced tone and clear attack. This kit has been restored - and is a refinish of the original Thermogloss, which looks good (slightly more matte than the original) but isn't without general wear. 

14 x 24 - The beef. Also the most messed drum on the bunch. It features a good bit of original hardware - 20x large lugs, 20x T-rods & claws, 2x Telescopic 5/16" spurs, and a ride cymbal mount. The hoops are new maple replacements (a little brighter shade), and someone replaced the original Ludwig diamond mount with a Tama mount. The main drag with this drum is that it lived some of it's life without a resonant head and the bearing edges has two deeper divots. That being said, it still does tuned up well and sounds good (This kit lived in a studio for the last 20 years). The finish shows some wear around the badge, and some slight checking throughout the top. The chrome is relatively clean, minimal pitting on the lugs, and minimal corrosion on the T-rods & claws.

9 x 13 - Overall great shape. Features all original hardware - 12x large lugs, 12x tension rods,x 2x triple flanged hoops, and classic mount. Holes for muffler (missing). Bearing edges are perfect (possibly recut but they have the correct profile). Finish is clean and consistent, with pretty much no scratches. Chrome is also very clean, almost no pitting on the lugs. 

16 x 16 - Overall great shape. Features all original hardware - 16x large lugs, 16x tension rods, 2x triple flanged hoops, 3x leg mounts & legs, and holes for muffler (Missing). Bearing edges are great just like the mounted tom (potentially recut as well). Finish is also very clean with no real scratches to mention. Chrome is generally very clean, with a couple lugs with some wear and some subtle corrosion in the creases of the hoops.
