1970's Ludwig 'Downbeat' 3 ply in Maple Cortex - 14x20, 8x12, 14x14

Here is a super sweet kit that you do not see every day. The super desirable downbeat sizes in 70’s 3 ply granitone glory in one of the most 70’s finishes - Maple Cortex. These look and sound awesome! Factory kit with no extra holes.

14 x 20 - Pretty much all original except heads! Features 16x large classic lugs, 16x T-rods & claws, 2x maple Thermogloss hoops with no inlay channel (original), diamond tom mount, and 2x 5/16” curved arc spurs. Drum is in good shape overall - Cortex is a tough finish. Seams look good. Some small nicks on the top of the bass drum, but nothing concerning. Chrome is good overall, with some normal light tarnishing.

8 x 12 - Pretty much all original except for heads. Features 12x small ludwig lugs, 12x tension rods, 2x triple flanged hoops, round knob muffler, and classic mount. Drum is in great shape overall. No heavy scratching. Chrome is generally good but hoops do show some subtle rust in the creases/could polish out to look great.

14 x 14 - The true white buffalo of the kit. The only Maple Cortex 14x14 we recall ever seeing. Clean and mostly original, features - 16x large classic lugs, 16x tension rods, 2x triple flanged hoops (bottom unoriginal), round knob muffler, and 3x leg mounts and legs. Finish and chrome are generally clean, in similar shape as the other drums.
